These learning games will be used daily during our different center times. Students will be building CVC words, sight words, and sentences. Being able to use their hands and build various words and sentences will help them to identify the letters in easy to read words and in our sight words(RFK3, LK1a). Once they build the different words and sentences they will also be practicing writing them.
Providing these supplies will give all students the opportunity to learn and grow despite not being able to attend preschool due to COVID.
In addition, they will also be matching upper and lower case letters to help them more easily identify each letter in the alphabet. A skill that lacks for many of my students this year due to not attending preschool last year for the COVID shut down.
Finally, providing more book storage allows students access to all our classroom books which will create a love for reading. This will also provide students an easier opportunity to write and draw about what they read in each story. Thank you for your support!
