These materials will strengthen fine motor development. My students will learn control, communication, concentration and dedication to finishing task and problem solving skills. Using math and language games with first time learners will help students to build a lifelong love of learning. Students get excited and engaged in these games/activities because they are having fun learning the fundamentals. These activities allow students to use their senses while learning. They see, touch, and move real objects to complete tasks. This means that letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and more are brought to life. Students begin to understand the meaning behind what they are doing.
