Providing books that my students can take home will ensure that they have reading materials. Most of my students are from low income families and do not have books at home. Some have parents that do not read or do not read English. Putting books in their hands on their level, that they enjoy reading could make all of the difference for them. I would love to be able to send books home especially during breaks caused by COVID-19. Some of my students do not have internet and providing books may be the only way they read while at home.
