Students at ages 5 and 6 are still developing physically and require tangible practice in order to be able to print legibly. Most important, prior to the pandemic I would see students loose their ideas while struggling to find the letters on the keyboard. With Long Distance Learning I can for see this challenge being present at home and would love to have this journals to help guide them.
By being able to provide my students with writing journals we can have virtual lessons on penmanship, letter formation, and take advantage of a critical moment in their little lives which is their ability to perfect their fine motor skills.
