I want to provide each gifted education student with a Micro:Bit to use during distance learning and beyond. Students will learn to think critically and creatively to participate in design challenges, create projects in MakeCode, Python and Scratch, and engage in many lessons that teach topics from computational thinking to history. Once learning moves from online back to the school site, the Micro:Bits will be placed in a STEM lab for all children at our elementary school to use. The gifted education students will be computer science experts to support their peers.
