When you walk in a typical Kindergarten classroom, you would see students working together and sharing items while they are learning through hands-on activities. This new school year is sure to be different with the effects of COVID-19.
I know that Kindergarteners learn best through a hands-on approach. This coming year, we will need to social distance in the classroom and sharing supplies will not be allowed. Every Kindergarten lesson uses many different materials and I currently don't have enough to separate and make individual kits for my incoming students.
I am hoping that I can get materials to add to the items I already have in my classroom so I can give each student their own ELA and Math toolkits, as well as supplies to help with fine motor and creativity. These toolkits will also be used if we have to make the switch to distance learning. They will take them hope to help supplement and work through their lessons at home. Please help me continue to help my students learn and grow even with all the changes this year!
