My students have been back and forth from virtual learning to in-person learning since they were in kindergarten. They are now in second grade and still have yet to have a full year of in-person learning in their entire school career. These students done a great job at adjusting and learning virtually through a computer however I would love to provide them with a great in-person classroom library.
They would benefit from reading paper books again instead of reading everything online.
I would also love to display all the fun books we read throughout the year as well as books that pertain to important social matters. These students have been so hardworking and adaptive through adversity that I want to give them the best possible in-person school experience and show them how great reading really can be!
