I am new to ELA/Social Studies family full time this year and would love more for my classroom. A scanner can help my students be more responsible, since they will have to check a book out and back in. This will also help me keep track of who borrow what book. White boards will be good for their vocabulary practice in big groups or small groups. I love Scholastic News magazine. As a child I always thought it was cool that there is a kid friendly magazine. This will be used for current events assignments and be useful for my students who do not have a computer at home. Since this is my first year teaching ELA, I would love more new books for my library. Thank you - Alvarez
