The manipulative for math so students will practice a wide variety of skills. They will also help students to develop fine motor skill, as well as gross motor. I would love to divide the materials place them in individual bags so my virtual students can participate in the activities. This is my first-year teaching and I will be a kindergarten teacher. I had the chance to meet my kindergartners in our Meet My Teacher Orientation on Zoom and immediately fell in love. My kindergartners are curious, full of energy and excitement, and ready to learn. During the day, they will spend their time building social and academic skills, reading, writing and drawing, learning their numbers & shapes. As a first-year teacher, my supplies are very limited, and I would love to give them the best school experience.
Due to Covid, there will need to be some changes in the classroom while still providing an environment where my students can learn, be safe, and have fun. In the classroom, they will need individual space and materials, so they can practice social distancing. I plan on dividing the materials, just so I will know the virtual students are not left alone without any materials to work with. These manipulative s will developed fine and gross motor skills. These will be extremely beneficial for both my online students and in person students.
