Mrs. Laack needs to acquire a set of 10–15 dry erase whiteboards for freshman English. Students use the boards to draw and write to show their thinking about an academic article or other text. They might list evidence, draw labeled pictures or a comic strip, make a T-chart or a Venn diagram—or do something else. Students can be creative and think outside the box using dry erase markers. Boards will be wiped down using Clorox wipes for sanitary purposes. Students love to draw and create on personal whiteboards by themselves or in groups.
