We will use these books throughout the school year to highlight how we can walk in each other's shoes. This project will help students see themselves in the reading and writing connected to the read-aloud. Using our standards but applying them to creative readings that represent our class is key to them moving forward in their education as it allows them the opportunity to see themselves as kind, engaged learners. These books will be added to a library meant to celebrate the uniqueness we all bring to learning.
