Morning bins are for students to grab a friend or two, and a bin, and start exploring! They require few directions and a lot of imagination. Have seen too many students lose their ability to use their imagination. So, I have decided to make these morning bins to give students a chance to explore their imagination and curiosity, while working with a friend. Not only does this help the academic skill it is geared towards, but it also engages the feeling of community, belonging, collaboration. Knowing how to work with others is a big goal in kindergarten! These bins will be changed out to only have 5-6 out at a time to keep their brains engaged! Without a doubt, these will be fun staple items in the classroom!
