Students are going to explore the properties of photosynthesis. In this project they'll make algae balls and throw them into a pH indicator solution. During which they'll experiment with different types of lights, brightnesses, and temperatures to discover the most productive range of photosynthesis as well as better learn the products and reactants of such a live giving equations. This project is intended to give our ecosystem, life science project more of a hands-on lab through what has in the past been very traditional school based learning with lectures and worksheets. My hope is they can use these kits to explore life science with an interactive lab that will challenge their inquiry and critical thinking processes. Thank you for your contributions! All my students will thank you for a great hands on project.
