First graders learn best when their hands are engaged in their learning! These tools will help us discover how sounds work together and how we CREATE and ENJOY literature together. Each item will be a part of a hands-on literacy approach so that ALL students have an opportunity to grow & learn!
With my new understanding of the Science of Reading, I want to equip my students with the tools they need to read! The opportunity to learn reading through such a literacy-rich, hands-on approach will absolutely make learning FUN and MEANINGFUL. Writing in sand, sounding out words with sensory poppers, moving sounds with pipe cleaners, writing sounds with markers, I can just imagine the joy of learning unfold!
