Adding a rug to my classroom will offer my students flexible seating during our mini ELL lessons. This will provide a space to sit simply to focus on listening to lessons, directions, and outcomes for our day.
Students can stretch their minds and bodies before beginning our learning task for the day. This rug will provide a place to congregate without distractions like a squeeky chair or an uneven table. Beginning our lessons as a classroom community will be a more efficient way to become and stay engaged in learning.
