In the Montessori classroom, learners navigate the environment independently choosing their work, their workspace, and the pace at which they complete activities. Our curriculum provides a rich and diverse selection of materials across the content areas that empowers students facilitated by hands-on activities to explore and discover. Modern technology such as tablets and laptops will bridge the gap between the concrete and the abstract as students will develop tech skills while working independently with adaptive math and reading programs by laptop and tablet as well as experience high-quality science and cultural multimedia presentations on the smart TV. Additionally, students will learn typing, trackpad skills, mouse skills, basic search techniques, and research skills by exploring all manner of science and cultural topics such as continents, volcanoes, and the solar system with laptops and tablets. With the use of this technology, our students will evolve into the critical thinkers and self-motivated learners that our community requires and deserves as their innate curiosity and unique interests will not be limited by the immediate material resources of our classroom or community. Let our students explore and discover as much as their interest will hold.
