As a kindergarten teacher, I like to engage my students in many different ways of learning throughout the year. When we are in the classroom we learn through hands-on learning and exploring, oral practice, technology practice, and of course through classic stories.
Please help me to give my students some quality materials for learning at home with distance learning. Since schools and libraries are closed many of my students do not have access to quality reading materials or books at all, unless they join our weekly zoom meetings or listen to the online read-alouds I have posted. I would love to give my students a fiction and nonfiction book to read while we are home for this pandemic. I know my students would love to have a new book or two to read with their families during distance learning. By using the materials that I have requested, I would be able to put together a quality reading/literacy packet for each student to have during this time and to have to help stop the summer slide.
