This project will provide supplies that can be used safely within the classroom. Our curriculum includes many Learning Objectives that are hands-on. We will be using the paper, scissors, rulers, and paints in Interior Design to create color wheel and create element and principles portfolio. The food supplies will allow students to create and enjoy labs of protein cooking, salads, mother sauces, yeast breads and pastries. They will learn plating skills as well as preparation skills. As we have a 69% poverty rate, it will allow students to be able to take home cooked products they prepared to supplement their food insecurities better.
