As a GT Specialist, I am constantly looking for more ways to engage all students and keep them longing to learn more. This donation is part of the beginning phase of a robotics program that I will begin implementing in the upcoming school year and keep building on over the next couple of years. In my first year alone, I can easily serve 50- 60 students in the after-school robotics program throughout the year. I also have over 50 students that I serve in my pull-out GT services that will have access to these. I will tie Spheros into my GT curriculum so that they can learn how to use them while in my class.
By donating to our project, you will be giving Kindergarten through 4th grade students a chance to enhance their robotics and coding skills. Spheros are simple enough for Kindergarten students to learn how to use, but differentiation through lesson planning can make them perfect for all grade levels.
