Each day, part of our time in the classroom was dedicated to reading a chapter of The World According to Humphrey. I would like to provide my students with the next book in the series to keep our routine consistent, even as we experience learning from home. Reading together can help build reading fluency, allow for the students to feel as though they are a community, and open their minds to a world of possibilities!
Not all students have access to books during this time of distance learning, especially since schools and libraries are closed.
Throughout the school year, I have lent classroom library books to students so they could complete their daily reading logs. Without physically being in the classroom, it has become much more difficult to get my students the resources they need. I would love the opportunity to give my students the passport they need to escape to intriguing adventures during this trying time of learning from home!
