Some of us grew up with the resources that we needed to learn and grow. Some us may have had limited resources and needed more; well those are the majority of my students.
We are requesting ten Amazon Fire tablets. My students lack the resources they need to learn, especially under these circumstances they are now faced with; learning remotely. They do not have computers. They do not have tablets. They do not have the devices that many of us have and often take for granted (I know I do).
The majority of my students are forced to share one phone with their siblings to complete assignments for multiple classes. It's not fair, but unfortunately this is their reality. So I am asking that you help me help them. I am asking for a small donation to purchase ten Kindle Fires (the most inexpensive I could find) to distribute to my most needy students. They deserve more and I want to give it to them. I do not want this Pandemic to affect their learning even more than it already has. Please help us.
