Just thinking about the potential to receive these classroom items, fills my heart with so much joy. As a teacher, it has been incredibly difficult working through a pandemic, but this will never stop me from being there for my students, and working hard to catch these kiddos up by creating a fun and nurturing classroom environment!
One of our favorite parts of the day is reading centers! My students love rotating throughout the day to different reading centers, whether it is reading books, whiteboard practice, handouts, or academic computer time. Centers are when the students work independently at a reading station for 15-20 minute intervals. This gives me the opportunity to pull small groups to provide instruction to each specific group's needs. Throughout the day, I am constantly trying to help students scroll on a trackpad or replace countless broken headphones that have stopped working. This can take time away from the students in my small group. Having this updated technology would help my students immensely!
I hope you choose our amazing classroom! We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Donors Choose program!
