Many of my families do not have have access to a computer so Distance Learning will not include everyone equally. However, all my families have access to the amazing U.S. Postal System!
Kindergarten children learn best by having their work in front of them to write, draw and create with. By mailing their work to them on a weekly basis, every child in my class will have ongoing and equal access to their Kindergarten Curriculum. These supplies will enable me to send all the materials needed for the week to EACH CHILD. I will happily supply the postage!
My students will continue to learn in the ways I have introduced in our classroom since the start of our school year. This consistency will help the child teach the parent our routines and help the parent assist the child to grow through new material. Our learning will continue to be supplemented by technology but the emphasis is on tangible learning materials.
