These laptops will definitely make a difference with our students. Currently, our campus was given a grant to fund our students with Chromebooks, but unfortunately, these devices are not equipped for Vex programming and coding of its robots through Robotc programming language. Currently, students are learning how to build different mechanisms using the Vex equipment, but in a month, they will be learning about coding language. They will be using Robot C programming language, and create prototypes that resemble those used in every-day life by engineers, such as traffic lights, spinning signs, elevators and toll booths. It would be great for each team to code their own mechanisms, and bring them to life, automation through programming.
