The class rug area is such an important part of our team building and everyday routines. Our classroom rug is a place where we can come for whole group collaborative learning opportunities!
We meet each morning on the rug and learn important reading and phonics skills, along with how to communicate and be kind to others. We do centers, sing songs, play games, and share stories on our classroom rug. Having the rug area allows for a transition space to learn and move, instead of being at the table and chair setting only. The rug is the heart of our classroom!
