My students enjoy being creative whenever possible! LEGO gives us endless possibilities to learn while building. Students will use these bricks in many ways! My students need creative opportunities and engaging materiels in all subjects! First and foremost these bricks will give students opportunities to work collaboratively and practice their Social Emotional skills. In Reading students will use these bricks to build spelling words and high frequency words. They will also use the bricks to help them retell stories. Bricks will also help them to be imaginative and then be able to write about what they have built! In Math the Legos will help students to count, add, subtract, build shapes and even be used to help tell time! In Science the bricks will help us to learn all about forces, animals, and plants. LEGO bricks can be used through out the day in everything we are learning. Who wouldn't be engaged when LEGO bricks are involved!
