Our student live in a rural community over an hour from the closest amusement parks or other types of entertainment. In addition, being from a small district, we do not have access to the science activities larger school districts take for granted.
At IFly, our students get to watch physics in action! They will discuss how the size, shape, and weight of an object affects its speed in the tunnel. Our students will witness flight instructors interacting with objects in the wind tunnel and have the opportunity to fly in the tunnel itself.
This program also gives us science curriculum we will teach prior to going on the field trip which will give the students some knowledge knowledge.
