Our class currently has a tall, bulky dry erase board that is heavy and inconvenient to move out for daily lessons. It's not magnetic and cannot be utilized for many things. Students miss out on reading big board books and making lists/charts during lessons.
This Learning Station from Lakeshore will allow us to see the big board books better during large group storytime, attach focus areas of the week with magnets, write letters, draw shapes, make comparison lists, tell stories using felt pictures, etc.! It gives us the change to use magnets, hang pocket charts, use the dry erase board daily, stores materials under the board if needed, and is super portable due to having wheels and being able to fold up.
This addition to our classroom will allow us to do so much more!
