Within the four walls of my classroom, I have a variety of students. Each of whom learns differently, acts differently, and achieves differently when it comes to their learning. Each of these students deserves a learning environment in which they are able to learn to their fullest potential. I plan to incorporate flexible seating within my classroom to meet the needs of many diverse students. Some of my students need a comfy place to work, others work best when they are able to sit on the floor, while others work best sitting at a desk. Because my students will be working at various places throughout the classroom, I also the clipboards will benefit how they work as well as keeping them organized. They can keep their unfinished work together and also have a space to work if they need it.
By giving these students the tools they need to learn how THEY learn best, I hope to encourage them to to DO their best. My hope is that these students are able to sit where they feel they will learn to their full potential and will be able to become successful and organized students going into their next school year. This is a welcome and inviting classroom, these students need to feel comfortable in whatever they are doing, whenever they are doing it.
