The supplies requested will allow each student to create an exhibit to show their peers, school, family, and community their work on a selected social issue. The social issues include preventing drunk driving, teen suicide prevention, border detention centers, the agricultural cliff, racial profiling and racism. All these issues impact the world we live in; my students aim to educate others and propose a solution.
The vision is that each of the 30 students will have an opportunity to present their ideas on solutions and facts about the issue to visitors during the exhibition.
Poster boards will be the main display, but students will also create brochures on their topics for the public. These supplies will bring their ideas to life through 3D representation and color!
