Children need fine motor skills! Research has shown that fine motor skills increase the ability to read and preform math skills. I am hoping to implement FINE MOTOR FRIDAY AFTERNOON in my 1st grade classroom. The kids will love these activities! In fact, they may even think they are simply getting to "play". What they won't realize is we will be working those tiny little muscles in their bodies and gaining skills they are lacking. In turn we will see better handwriting, reading, and social skills! I am so excited to implement these fun activities in my classroom! I have a feeling Fine Motor Friday afternoon will be a fan favorite with my students!
