The students in my classroom are diagnosed with many different disabilities. These disabilities range from ADHD, ADD, Learning Disabled, Traumatic Brain Injury, Other Health Impaired and Autism. Although each disability is displayed differently in each student, the one common trait that they all share is the inability to focus when asked to remain still in their seats. Having the opportunity to move around appropriately in a chair that is designed for this purpose, will significantly impact their learning in a positive, less disruptive way. They will now be more engaged in lessons and more likely to participate. This will also help each and every student either reach or come very close to their goal that they set at the beginning of the school year. Also having an area where they can sit, relax and be themselves, while reading a book or just chatting with their classmates is a reward in itself. Our classroom thanks you in advance for making this dream possible.
