The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project is having its 98th Saturday Reunion March 21, 2020. I would love to be among the thousands of educators from across the country who gather at the Teachers College in New York twice a year and attend workshops focusing on many different areas including literacy and writing. I have been an educator for more than 20 years and this will give me an opportunity to meet renowned authors such as Grace Lin and leaders in education.
I will attend workshops throughout the day and learn about new and proven methods to help students become better writers. After the day-long reunion, I know I will have new tools to bring back to my classroom and share with my 86 enthusiastic middle school students who are eager to strengthen their writing skills.
