A new MacBook Pro would allow me to engage my students in more interactive lessons. My school laptop blocks many resources that my student can use to enhance their learning. Although, I am at home using my own WiFi, there are websites that are still blocked. I have come across many great resources on the internet that would make my lessons more engaging.
My students are 100% remote and are in front of the computer for an extended period of time. Many of my students' parents are essential workers and cannot be at home to help their children. Interactive lessons will be easier to understand and make learning more fun.
This MacBook Pro will also provide me with a second screen so that I can see ALL of my students while presenting my lesson. Sometimes my students become frustrated or upset when they are raising their hands to answer a question and I cannot see them.
