In our health class we talk about self care A LOT. These self care kits will give our students a chance to practice self care at home
Gratitude, creativity, mindful breathing and moving our bodies are all proven ways to increase our wellness; this kit focuses on EACH of those components. This kit includes watercolors, a gratitude journal, a pedometer, bubbles and mints, all to help students get present with their mind, senses and emotions.
In class we will discuss how each item can support us during distance learning and track our moods to see if these supports make a difference.
