The Merge Cube presents so many incredible opportunities for students! Not only is it an ingenious way to hook students during reviews, but it also holds the power to unleash independent, scientific thinking.
The Dig App is similar to Minecraft. Students design a world using materials such as brick, stone, and wood. This experiment opens the door to a real-world discussion on renewable vs nonrenewable resources.
Dig will get their creative juices flowing and teach students science really is fun!
The 8th grade SOL (Standards of Learning) test covers material taught in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. What better way to encourage students to review material throughout the year! Students can maneuver their way through the solar system using the Galactic Explorer App or dive underwater to experience the habitat and adaptations of various species. We will use Merge Cubes kindle a fire of curiosity focused around the world of science.
Students with special needs can collaborate with others and learn together as they visualize the rings of Saturn, what a Moray Eel habitat looks like, and how much wood it takes to construct a home.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of my students!
