Our classroom is center-based. During center time, students have the options between our art, writing, library, puzzles, blocks and kitchen center. Through-out our different centers, we do many hands-on activities. For example, our puzzle, blocks, writing, art, play-dough, and kitchen center consists of us using our hands and can be something as small as picking up an object or something as big as creating a picture. These materials, puzzles, games, and activity kits, will make a major difference in keeping my students engaged. Not only are my students engaged during centers, but they are actually learning. I strive to not only keep my students engaged, but to also make it fun!
