Please help me foster a love of reading in my students! I have a wonderful group of children ages 9 through 11 that love to learn. Many of my students do not have books in their own homes. My plan is to make available for them an area in which they can read about the world around them, share with classmates about what they have learned, and even have an opportunity to take books home to share with their families! I can't imagine a more successful program then one in which students and their families read together! What more could you ask for? Our once a month Family Connect Night is a perfect opportunity to start this shared reading opportunity! Reading is exciting!

About my class
