We have centers in the classroom almost everyday and we will use the table and chairs for those students who need something or somewhere different to work. I have many students in my class who could really use a different place to work when they are feeling uneasy or feel the need to move a little more. It's tough to sit still when you're six.
I am always trying to make learning fun in the classroom with art or some type of hands-on activity. Simple things like crayons, markers and glue go so quickly. We are studying Christmas around the World right now, and we try to make something from each country, like a poinsettia for la Posado or a crown of candles for St Lucia Day in Sweden.
