In my class, I have many students who have a hard time sitting still at their desks for prolonged periods of time. A rug would be a great addition to my classroom because it will bring students together in a small informal setting. With a new rug my students will have a comfortable space to sit and read, work in small groups, as well as having a comfortable space to have classroom discussions.
The rug will be the focal point of my “Writing, Reading, and Math Workshops.“ This will facilitate my students‘ ability to immerse themselves in our subject matter. My students would be thrilled to have a new rug in our classroom as a centerpiece for our workshops.
