These materials aren't just materials, they are tools used to make a difference in learning the great sport of Volleyball! In this project, we are in need of a double net storage holder, a bungee blocker, a ball cart, two agility ladders, and two coaches clipboards. These tools will help these girls become inspired by not receiving these awesome gifts but being believed in by you! You chose to provide them with tools needed to make the best version of themselves.
With providing not only these tools, but your support, will mean a lot to these young women who don't have the support they always need. With given a double net storage, these girls will have nets that aren't ripped through and also last longer. The nets we have now are used at its best but at times are very inconvenient due to the balls going through the actual net and not stopped. A bungee blocker provides the opportunity for our girls to learn to hit around or through a block and also cover our hitters or know what to expect when the other team has a block up. One of the important tools we need is a ball cart. The ball carts we have at the moment are either broken or have holes in them, which cause our drills to slow down because girls are having to hold the balls instead of having a useful ball cart. This year, we hosted our ACAC Tournament. We had two gyms going at once, and teams weren't able to place balls in a ball cart which caused a lot of traffic in the gym. The agility ladders will help the girls build quickness in their feet, while the clipboards will be helping our coaches explain game situations quickly.
