Our students have developed tremendous tech skills during the pandemic. Unfortunately with re-opening schools our students no longer have access to their digital toolbox. Some computers broke and those remaining are being shared throughout the school.
It is a civil rights issue that our kids continue to have digital tools.
They deserve to access the personalized learning and engagement strategies that they honed over the 18 months of digital learning. Our young people are preparing for their leadership role in our community and we need them to access the world beyond our classroom walls.
Our goal is to acquire computers for each of our classrooms grades 3 through 8. We know this is a huge ask of the Donors Choose community, however, we must step into this funding gap least our kids fall prey to the opportunity gap. Thank you for your help in getting our students the 21st century tools they deserve and require to engage in their work of collaborating, creating, and achieving.
