Our district provides our class with iPads to every first grader. These iPads allow our students to learn in new methods in subjects like math and reading. We utilize education apps during centers and Friday Fun to engage students in new fun learning. Having charging docks will greatly impact these iPad times because we will be able to keep track of them better and not have to worry about whether they are charging or not!
Unfortunately, I do not have enough chargers or charging outlets for all of our iPads! Our room looks cluttered with iPads and chargers found at every outlet in the classroom! We have 25 iPads, and only 3 outlets available for use. This means we have to monitor what percentage each iPad is at and switch them out frequently to make sure each of them are adequately charged.
These charging docks come with short cables to greatly reduce clutter. The docks will also keep all the iPads in one place instead of charging all over the room, which will help our class keep track of them better. It has plastic dividers to safely store the iPads and lights up when charging, but turn off when charged to 100%.
