My students are expected to do a lot of independent reading throughout our day. One of the things that help me to focus and read more effectively is when I am sitting in a spot that I feel comfortable in. It helps to get lost into the book and really dive into what is going on. This is why I am trying to have bean bag chairs around my room. Students will be able to get comfortable in places other than just sitting at their desks, like they have been told to do everyday. Please consider helping my students to feel more comfortable to learn and enjoy reading in our classroom.
