Because of the everchanging rate of technology, most students have Bluetooth or headphones that are only compatible with iPhones.
In the classroom, our students use Chromebooks with standard headphone jacks. Obtaining these headphones would enable my students to have effectively participate in multimedia projects.
Currently, the English teachers share headphones and our department only has 18 for a class of 30 or 31 so some students may be left without headphones. We would like to expand our curriculum to include videos through Google Classroom and vocabulary examples.
We would also like to include requirements for students to include videos relevant to the curriculum in the multimedia projects they complete.
Right now, we are having a hard time expanding student creativity because it is difficult for students to concentrate with so many videos playing at once. Students who have headphones bring them, but we would like for the learning environment to be complete equitable.
