There has been a shift to flexible seating in K-12 classrooms, and my school is looking to jump on board! There's great research to support the use of flexible seating in the classroom setting. Research states that some of the immediate benefits of flexible seating include burning more calories, using up excess energy, improving metabolism, increased motivation and engagement, creating a better oxygen flow to the brain, and improving core strength and overall posture.
It is no surprise that physical activity is linked to higher academic performance, better health, and improved behavior. (Research by Matthew T. Mahar, et al.)

I am asking for 35 learning stools so that my school can have one learning stool in each classroom. This will provide students with the option of sitting on a learning stool in multiple classrooms throughout their day!
