Most of my students have a hard time with traditional seating in a classroom, and we are currently sitting on the floor to work in groups. The flex seating will give the students the opportunity to focus more on their work because they will focus less on squirming around. My classroom is a mod/severe special education classroom with students who struggle with learning disabilities of all different levels and fine motor skills. The alphabet sound teaching tubs come with manipulatives that will help with differentiated teaching methods to help students recognize sounds, letters, sort, build vocabulary, and help associate all with real life items. The kit also includes up-to-date teaching methods that are fun and interactive, to help students learn and process new information. I also included some other supplies that for art, interactive learning, and help keep my room organized so I can be efficient and effective as possible.
Fair isn't everyone getting the same thing, fair is everyone getting what they need in order to be successful!
Anything that is given will be appreciated, we work hard to be successful regardless of our disabilities.
