These resources and materials will allow my students to touch and feel the math they are learning. Not all students learn the same and many struggle when it comes to learning math visually. These manipulatives will allow my students to feel and physically manipulate the materials to strengthen their math skills.
Math class will become an interactive learning environment where they learn from me as well as from each other. My students will be able to visually see how different fractions are the same. For example: 4/8 = 1/2 = 3/6. They will be able to challenge each other through multiplication dice games. They will have calculators to help them as the math becomes more challenging and the pencils to use on a daily basis.
