My students would love to learn how to stay fit and be comfortable. Currently, I teach PE inside a gym that is too small and is also used as the cafeteria and auditorium, otherwise known as the gymacafetorium. These yoga mats would get my students off the ground and keep them comfortable when we are doing our fitness testing and relaxation/stretching unit. Yoga is a great activity for students to learn techniques to help them focus, relax, and channel their feelings into something more positive, ACTIVITY!
My goal with this equipment is to get my students to become LIFELONG MOVERS!
The Cornhole equipment is for a new unit I would like to introduce my students to. Cornhole is a fun, upcoming game that has simple rules, and is easy for the kids to learn and cooperate together. This will also give me another chance to connect the classroom to PE class through math (adding and subtracting scores).
