This rug would make a difference for my students in many ways. It would allow flexible seating for my students instead of sitting on a bare cement floor. Also, it would provide and promote reading visually for the students.
I believe with this literacy rug within the classroom will set the tone for excellence through our literacy time. I have comfy floor chairs as well as a reading nook area. This will allow the students to be relaxed even when challenged with a reading task or needing a safe space to relax with a book on the carpet.
